World Champion Phil Hill was honored at the 2006 Goodwood Revival Meeting in the style and grace that has always been the hallmark of Lord March's events. On hand were many of the significant cars that Hill drove in his 20 year racing career. The cars present represented the span of Hill's career: Alfa Romeo 8C 2900, Ferrari 246 Dino, 250 TR58 Le Mans winner, 250 TR61 Le Mans winner and the Chaparral 2F, in which Hill won his last professional race, the 1967 Brands Hatch BOAC.
Hill and son Derek alternated taking the wheel of the Alfa and the 250 TR58 for parade laps throughout the weekend. The entire Hill clan was delighted when Derek won the Freddie March Memorial Trophy race, driving an Alfa Romeo 3000 CM Coupe.
